Business Showcase & Tasting

Business Tools Group (BTG)
Educates members on critical business issues through seminars, discussions, and networking.    Meets 1st Friday of the month, 9:00 to 10:30 am, BWCC office.   Wanted: Seminar presenters (members only).


Business Vision Board
Offers business owners an opportunity to learn how to manage the challenges and successes that all business owners face.  Confidential, peer to peer discussion on business growth, cash flow, human resource issues, marketing, sales and operations strategies.  Open to all BWCC members who are business owners, top level sales people and entrepreneurs.  Meets 4th Thursday of the month, 9:00 to 10:30 am, BWCC office.


Foundation Gala Planning
Help raise money for corridor area high school student scholarships and other educational programs through this major fundraiser.  Meeting dates vary,  contact the BWCC for next meeting date.  Wanted: Help collecting Silent Auction items.


Golf Tournament Planning
Like to golf and raise money?  The tourney has been held for over 40 years.  Join this group as it plans this great event.  Meeting dates vary, contact the BWCC for meeting date.  Wanted: Help planning this annual event.  


Government Contracting (GovCon) Council 
Assists members in doing business with federal, state and local government agencies by providing information, education, and networking opportunities related to government contracting.  Meets the 3^rd Tuesday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am, BWCC office.  Wanted: Help planning and putting on programs.


Green Alliance
Assists members in being better stewards of our environment and natural resources by linking businesses together, focusing on environmental projects, providing white papers and linking our efforts to governmental and non-profit organizations.  Call the BWCC for meeting date.  Wanted: Help connecting businesses, gathering information and planning events.

GRO-Events
This group´s mission is to serve their clients better, grow their business, grow their network of relationships and to grow as business leaders.  The group provides business support and connections that you might not have on your own.  Meets 4th Wednesday of the month, 8:00 to 9:30 am, BWCC office.


IYM... It´s Your Membership!
Join us to discuss practical ways to use your membership.  Members are invited to introduce their company, share recent success stories, learn networking tips, sales techniques, referral strategies and more.  Meets 1st Thursday of the month, 8:30 to 9:30 am, BWCC office.  Wanted: Members who want to get a strong ROI from their membership.


Public Affairs Group (PAG)
The group developes and maintains relationships with elected officials at the local, state, and federal level, working in cooperation with the Maryland and U.S. Chambers.  It analyzes proposed legislation and keeps BWCC members informed.  Contact the BWCC office for meeting times.  Wanted: Members concerned with how legislative decisions might affect their business.


Regional Workforce Group
Focused on regional workforce recruitment and retention issues.  Members of this group interact with local, state and federal governments, the educational community and private sector employers to determine short and long term challenges and solutions.  Meets 4th Tuesday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am, BWCC office.  Wanted:  Members interested in interacting with educational institutions, private employers, local, state and federal governments to discuss challenges and solutions.


Women In Business (WIB)
Offers education, networking, discussion groups, themed programs and activities geared towards creating alliances and partnerships.  Meets 2nd Wednesday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am.  Check the BWCC website calendar for location or call the BWCC office.
