Business Expo Planning
Help us plan the Business & Technology Expo that attracts hundreds of businesses each year.   Expo held in the spring.  Meets the 4th Wednesday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am.


Business Tools Group (BTG)
Help educate members on critical business issues through seminars, discussions, and networking.  Share your own expertise as a seminar presenter (members only).  Meets 1st Friday of the month, 9:00 to 10:30 am.


Foundation Gala Planning
Help raise money for high school student scholarships and other educational programs as a member of the team organizing this major fundraiser.  Meets 2nd Wednesday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am.


Golf Tournament Planning
Like to golf and raise money?  Enjoy both by helping us plan the annual golf tournament.

 Government Contracting (GovCon) Council 
Assists members interested in doing business with federal, state and local government agencies by providing information, education, and networking opportunities related to government contracting.  Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am.

    

Green Alliance
Strives to assist members in being better stewards of our environment and natural resources by linking businesses together, focusing on significant environmental projects, providing white papers, developing a resource guide to environmental companies and linking our efforts to governmental and non-profit organizations.  Join with us as we embark on these and other intitiatives!  Call the BWCC for meeting date.



Marketing and Membership

Join this group to help fellow members get engaged in their membership. Surveys, mentoring, greeters (Ambassadors), welcome packets are some the projects this committee works on.  Meets 1st Thursday of each month, 8:30 to 9:30 am.


Public Affairs Group (PAG)
The PAG develops and maintains relationships with elected officials at the local, state, and federal level, working in cooperation with the Maryland and U.S. Chambers. It analyzes proposed legislation and keeps members informed.  Contact the BWCC office for meeting details.


Regional Workforce Group
The focus is on regional workforce recruitment and retention issues.  Members of this group interact with local, state and federal governments, the educational community and private sector employers to determine short and long term challenges and solutions.  Meetings vary.  Contact the BWCC office for meeting details.


Women In Business (WIB) Council
Offering education, networking, discussion groups, themed programs and activities geared towards creating alliances and partnerships.  Meets 2nd Friday of the month, 8:30 to 10:00 am.  Check the BWCC website calendar of events for meeting details.
